Is one of your worst nightmares the thought of your 47-year-oldchildliving in your basement or over your garage, and only coming out to eat your food or complain that you're playing your Ipod too loud? Do you want to prevent this scenario? Do you think it can't happen to you? This ABF examines the challenges and rewards of parenting adult children. It willfamiliarize you with various situations encountered by parents who have launched their children into the world (or wish they could launch them into the world), and will give participants various strategies for addressing the obstacles that appear in this process from time to time. Biblical foundations will be explored, and the class format will include several modalities. This ABF is built in smaller segments so that it will be equally enjoyable and beneficial to the regular attender and drop-in visitor alike. Humor will be liberally utilized, and this class already enjoys the reputation for providing the best snacks!

Too often Christians go through life with a sense of anxiety, muddling through life because they just aren’t sure about God’s will or fear that they will somehow miss it. But God doesn’t need to tell us what to do at each fork in the road. He has already revealed His plan for our lives to us: to love Him with our whole hearts, to obey His Word, and after that to use the sanctified common sense and wisdom that He has given us. During this class we’ll deal with some of the erroneous views of God’s will and give you a basic approach to living in God’s will that is available to every believer.
