Scott Carson – Senior Pastor
Scott has been serving the Lord at Grace Church since 1988 as the Senior Pastor. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and first came to Wisconsin in 1975 as a junior to attend high school. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin and a Masters Degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to coming to Grace, Scott served as an assistant pastor in Danville, Illinois and helped start a church in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He has a business background, having previously been involved in commercial sales and marketing.
Scott and his wife, Jane, have three children: Charity, Ben and Aaron. Scott will quickly tell you that the five greatest days of his life have been “the day I accepted Christ, the day I married Jane and the birth of each of our three children.”
Scott is a dedicated student, an avid reader and even a bit of a book collector. He is committed to providing clear, practical teaching of the Bible as God’s perfect Word.
Scott is very active in the community, having served on a community drug task force, is a member of the Burlington Rotary Club and an Ambassador for the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also the chaplain for the Burlington Police Department.
Richard Benson and his wife Jayne have been married for 50 years and have been barbering in Paddock Lake, WI, for 50 years! They have two grown sons, twin grandchildren, and a dog, Rich loves being outdoors, bicycling, gardening, and golfing. Rich gave his life to Christ 12 years ago.
Mike Wiemer
practically lives in the basement of Grace Church. He cooks, he cleans, he organizes, he leads the Men’s Monday night Bible Study and maintains our facilities! He is married to the equally helpful and talented, JoAnn. If there’s a truck in the parking lot, it’s a safe bet Mike is somewhere on the premises. 
Ray Ziebell and his wife Carol have served at Grace Church for many years.  Ray is a retired teacher, pilot and bus driver.  Ray serves on the Prayer Committee, teaches adult classes and sometimes leads Bible studies.  Ray gave his life to Christ as a young adult and loves to share his story and serve the Lord.
Ron Strelow
is an active member of Grace Church, serving on the Audio -Visual team on Sunday mornings. He and his wife, Jackie, live in Rochester and have four children: Michelle and Hanna (both married), James (working in Madison), and Dylan (a sophomore at Waterford High School). Ron looks forward to continued service in the Audio-Visual department as well as being a part of the Building committee. Ron says this is an exciting area to serve in, as the days of being able to utilize our new facility to reach people with the Gospel gets closer and closer!
