Scott Carson – Senior Pastor
Scott has been serving the Lord at Grace Church since 1988 as the Senior Pastor. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and first came to Wisconsin in 1975 as a junior to attend high school. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin and a Masters Degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to coming to Grace, Scott served as an assistant pastor in Danville, Illinois and helped start a church in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He has a business background, having previously been involved in commercial sales and marketing.
Scott and his wife, Jane, have three children: Charity, Ben and Aaron. Scott will quickly tell you that the five greatest days of his life have been “the day I accepted Christ, the day I married Jane and the birth of each of our three children.”
Scott is a dedicated student, an avid reader and even a bit of a book collector. He is committed to providing clear, practical teaching of the Bible as God’s perfect Word.
Scott is very active in the community, having served on a community drug task force, is a member of the Burlington Rotary Club and an Ambassador for the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also the chaplain for the Burlington Police Department.
Travis Brinks and his wife Amy have been married since 2013 and have lived in the Burlington area for 4 years. Both actively serve in the church with singing, the nursery and Bible studies. They have a beautiful little daughter named Eva and a crazy little Pomeranian named Chico. Travis loves spending time with family, being outdoors, playing basketball and woodworking. Travis gave his life to Christ while in high school.
Mike Wiemer
practically lives in the basement of Grace Church. He cooks, he cleans, he organizes, he leads the Men’s Monday night Bible Study and maintains our facilities! He is married to the equally helpful and talented, JoAnn. If there’s a truck in the parking lot, it’s a safe bet Mike is somewhere on the premises.
Ray Ziebell and his wife Carol have served at Grace Church for many years.  Ray is a retired teacher, pilot and bus driver.  Ray serves on the Prayer Committee, teaches adult classes and sometimes leads Bible studies.  Ray gave his life to Christ as a young adult and loves to share his story and serve the Lord.

Bruce Ranke and his wife Debbie, who recently retired from nursing, have attended Grace Church for the past 18 years.  Bruce taught high school math at Badger High School for 34 years and still enjoys working with students at Waterford High School in various capacities.  “Our prayer is that God uses us to serve Him through the ministries of Grace.”
