Ladies Bible Studies
~ Freedom From Bondage God's Way by Kay Arthur ~
Do you long for a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God, but seem lost when you open your Bible? Do you read portions here and there, but forget what it said five minutes later? Do you think it’s really possible to understand Scripture even if you aren’t a theologian? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then an inductive bible study is for you. We will be studying Freedom from Bondage God's Way by Kay Arthur. It is an in depth study of the book of Ephesians and Galatians. This study meets at church in the big classroom downstairs. It runs through the school year and meets every other Monday. This study is led by Sue Riddle.
~ Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeust ~
Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. The reality is we were made to crave. Craving isn't a bad thing. But we must realize God created us to crave more of him. Many of us have misplaced that craving by overindulging in physical pleasures instead of lasting spiritual satisfaction. If you are struggling with unhealthy eating habits, you can break the 'I'll start again Monday' cycle, and start feeling good about yourself today. Learn to stop beating yourself up over the numbers on the scale. Discover that your weight loss struggle isn't a curse but rather a blessing in the making, and replace justifications that lead to diet failure with empowering go-to scripts that lead to victory. You can reach your healthy weight goal -- and grow closer to God in the process. This is not a how-to book. This is not the latest and greatest dieting plan. This book is the necessary companion for you to use alongside whatever healthy lifestyle plan you choose. This is a book and Bible study to help you find the 'want to' in making healthy lifestyle choices This study meets two Monday evenings each month at Debbie Ranke’s house and is led by Debbie Ranke.
~ Breaking Free by Beth Moore ~
This Bible Study meets on Friday mornings and is led by Carol Ziebell. It is a video and workbook study. The Ladies view the video one week and discuss it and the homework the following week.
Do you want to know God and really believe Him? Do you want to find satisfaction in God, experience His peace, and enjoy His presence? Do you want to make the freedom Christ promised a reality in your daily life?
In Breaking Free, Beth Moore embarks on a study of selected passages from the Book of Isaiah, drawing several parallels between the captive Israelites and today's Christians, in order to show how to make freedom in Christ a daily reality. Moore teaches readers to remove obstacles that hinder freedom by identifying spiritual strongholds in their lives and overcoming them through the truth of God's Word—truth that will set us free.
Mom's Morning Out:
~ Give Them Grace - Dazzling Your Kids with the Love of Jesus by Elyse M. Fitzpatrick & Jessica Thompson ~
Mom’s Morning Out is a time for moms young and old to get together and learn more about God’s Word in an environment of encouragement and care for one another.
Mom’s Morning Out meets every Tuesday throughout the school year with the exception of the holiday season from 9:30-11AM at the church. Child Care is provided.
Do you wonder about parenting? What makes a good parent? What makes a good child? What is my ultimate goal for my child or children? How do I know when I’ve attained "my star" for my most important job here on earth?
This book, Give Them Grace, helps us see God’s perspective on parenting, grace, forgiving, and showing the Gospel to those He has given us to love, care for, nurture, and grow. Our homes are our first mission field. Together we can learn to give grace and show Christ in every aspect of our lives. Let’s teach our children the importance of obedience. Let’s also teach our children the importance of grace."
